Outside of lending, Mike has dedicated 35 years to coaching basketball at both the high school and college levels—serving as an assistant coach at Salpointe Catholic HighSchool, Sahuaro High School, Ironwood Ridge High School, and Pima Community College, where he’s now entering his 15th year.
He also organizes the More Than A Bed Toy Drive, now in its 10th year, bringing joy to foster children across Tucson—another reflection of his commitment to community.

Leah and her team are ammmmmmazing. Every time we hit a roadblock, it was never “you’re in trouble” … it was always “we’re going to figure this out together.” Buying a home can feel like such an emotional roller coaster, and there were definitely some stresssssful moments, but we never felt alone through any of it. One of the biggest things for us was how human they made the process feel. Mike was great through a pretty difficult closing process that stressed me out considerably.
