The service provided was efficient and timely, which I greatly appreciated. However, the closing fees appeared excessive and higher than typical industry standards. In my eagerness to complete the transaction before the end of the year, I proceeded despite these concerns. Specific examples include the $170 credit report fee and several overlapping lender charges, such as underwriting, processing, administration, and document preparation fees.
