TEMPE, AZ – September 9, 2024 – Peoples Mortgage Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Garrett Helminski to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective September 9th, 2024. Garrett has been with Peoples Mortgage since 2002 and has played a key role in the company’s success and continued growth over the past two decades.
Garrett Helminski brings over 25 years of experience in mortgage banking, with a strong background in Mortgage Operations, Loan Production, and P&L management. He has extensive expertise in digital transformation, risk management, and strategic planning, making him an invaluable asset to Peoples Mortgage. As the Underwriter of record on more than 8,000 mortgage loans, Garrett’s knowledge and leadership have been critical to the company's ongoing achievements.
In his new role, Garrett will oversee Branch Support, Product Support, Credit Risk, Loan Production, and Technology. His dedication to the mortgage industry extends beyond operations, as he has a passion for training and educating Loan Officers, homebuyers, and Real Estate Agents on the complexities of the mortgage process.
