President & CEO | Managing Partner 

Shawn Morris serves as President & CEO and Managing Partner of Peoples Mortgage Company, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. A Tempe native, Shawn studied Finance at the University of Arizona and has dedicated more than 30 years to the mortgage industry. 

Throughout his career, Shawn has held leadership roles across virtually every division of a mortgage bank, including origination, sales, operations, underwriting, secondary marketing, strategic planning, and ownership. This broad, hands-on experience gives him a unique ability to lead with both strategic vision and operational excellence, allowing Peoples Mortgage to grow and thrive even through changing market conditions. 

As Managing Partner for nearly three decades and President & CEO since 2024, Shawn remains deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. His leadership is defined not only by experience, but by a strong belief that people come first. Family is extremely important to Shawn personally, and that value is reflected in how Peoples Mortgage operates every day. 

Shawn is actively involved in the mortgage community as a member of the Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association. Guided by leadership rooted in integrity, experience, and respect, Shawn continues to lead Peoples Mortgage with a clear purpose, remaining proudly All About the People.
