This is definitely not a slight on Mike Jones or Peoples Mortgage, but as an out-of-state buyer, I would have liked more information up front. I did not know the name of the title company until 3 days before the initial closing. In addition, in the last month Peoples Mortgage pinged my credit so often that all three reporting agencies stated that this activity could adversely affect my rating.
